THE FAYETTEVILLE CHAMBER is making sure the city’s workforce is equipped with the skills businesses need. Below
are some of the ways the Chamber is growing tomorrow’s workforce.
LEADERINME®
LeaderinMe® is a program based on Steven Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective
People and helps students develop leadership and life skills needed for success
in the 21st Century. The program is currently in Washington, Holcomb, Owl
Creek, Vandergriff and Asbell Elementary Schools. The students and
faculty actively participate in training sessions to improve student
behavior, leadership, attendance, student and family engagement and
academic results.
REGIONAL ROBOTICS CENTER
In 2019, the Fayetteville Chamber’s new Regional Robotics
Center will teach people to operate and program the types of
robots used by many companies in our area. Industry leaders
Fanuc Robotics and ABB Robotics designed the Center’s training
program and will certify graduates.
High school graduates can complete training at the Robotics Center
in 90 days or less (giving them a jump-start on a career). Current
workers can also use the Center to advance their skills.
