Kathryn Murphy
Senior Science and Technical Manager for Software Engineering, SSC Atlantic
Ms. Murphy has over 30 years of extensive management and
technical experience in Government and private industry
positions including 28 years at Space and Naval Warfare
Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic and its predecessor activities.
Kathryn began her federal career as a Navy Acquisition
Intern assigned to Headquarters, Marine Corps (HQMC)
Installation & Logistics Division in Arlington, VA, where
she provided maintenance engineering support for USMC
communications, vehicle platforms, and weapons systems.
From there, she moved to Norfolk, VA and worked as
a contractor providing the NAVSEA Combat Systems
Engineering Station (SEABAT) program management
and technical support for the Trident Data Processing
