Coaching Children – How do I deliver great experiences ?
The Golden Thread is offered as a guide to help children ’ s coaches to design fun and engaging sessions for their players which will help them enjoy the sessions and want to keep coming back week after week .
During your session ask yourself the following questions :
• Are the players enjoying and / or engaged in the game ?
• Is the purpose of the game being achieved ?
• Are all the players being challenged appropriately ? ( is it too difficult , too easy , one-sided )
If the answer to any of the above questions is NO , then CHANGE IT , but remember to retain the integrity of the game .
