Former Minister of Estate proposes to lower minimum wage because "it is very high"
The former minister of estate Guillermo Perry said in Cartagena that this remuneration is so high that it is
generating unemployment and labor informality
between the poor.
The opinion of many persons is that they say that the legal minimum wage which is of $566.700 in Colombia is not so high,since this one is not sufficient for the study of his childrens,food,sustenance,between others.
Also the former finance minister Mauricio Cárdenas said to be a country that is trying to become more developed can not have this sort of trouble among Colombians.
Finally the president of Fasecolda Roberto Junguito says that the value of the minimum wage carries to that having less pensioned in Colombia and that there can not be a pension lower than the value of legal minimum wage.
To conclude the value of the legal minimum wage benefits some citizens,except to the poor persons since the benefits are not the same due to the high labor costs.
Also Guillermo Perry clarify that the government for the moment should not star any debate for the decrease of the minimum wage.
