Payments
• Payments at the regular registration rate must be postmarked by the close of regular registration , February 1 , 2022 , 11:59 p . m . CST . Payments at the late registration rate must be postmarked by the close of late registration , February 13 , 2022 , 11:59 p . m . CST .
Cashier ’ s Checks , Chapter Checks or Money Orders should be made payable to : Alpha Kappa Alpha – Central Region Soror Vanessa Vavasseur Central Region Pecunious Grammateus 1313 S . Plymouth Ct . Unit A Chicago , Illinois 60605
• A $ 50 handling fee will be assessed for any chapter check returned from the bank for any reason . Chapter registration will be delayed until the matter is cleared .
Refunds
• All requests for refunds must be submitted via selecting here on or before February 5 , 2022 . An email will automatically be sent to crcrefund @ akacentral . org .
• Due to planning commitments , requests after this deadline will not be honored .
• A $ 35 handling fee will be applied to all refunds
• Refunds will be paid approximately 90 days after the 88 th CRC concludes and / or after conference expenses are paid .
• There will be no refunds on meal functions after February 5 , 2022 .
• There will be no on-site refunds .
• DO NOT request a refund if you disputed our CREDIT CARD CHARGES . This may result in an outstanding balance owed to the region .
Conference Bags ( Kits ), Merchandise
Kits and materials will be reserved for Sorors registered by the February 1 , 2022 deadline in the order received . Conference kits are not guaranteed for late registrations . If for some reason we are unable to meet in person , all shipping costs will be the responsibility of the soror .
Registration Material Pick-up
• Sorors must present their financial card , registration barcode confirmation and photo identification to the registration area for check-in .
• Sorors unable to attend the conference may request that the materials to be picked up from the registration area by their Chapter Basileus or Graduate Advisor ( for Undergraduate Sorors ).
• The request must be accompanied by a completed form from the Soror authorizing pickup . Please click here to complete the form . No registration materials / kits or souvenirs will be mailed .
