STEP SHOW/STROLL AND EXHIBITION GUIDELINES
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® is an organization that was founded on the ideals of precepts and
high scholastic, moral and ethical standards. It is our responsibility as members to uphold and display the
positive image of our beloved sisterhood to the public at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, the way
we present ourselves through step show/stroll performances, and exhibitions of any kind. The image of Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is important inasmuch as we are an organization that is more than a
century old. We have weathered and survived many storms and we are still here! Our Founders’ vision was to
establish a sorority that would attract young women of high scholastic, moral and ethical standards that would
abide by the rules and standards of the organization that have stood the test of time.
