EXCELLENCE QUICK FACTS: ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ If you have been suspended for hazing or do not have 24 consecutive months active before February 1, 2020, you are ineligible to complete Graduate Advisors’ Certification. You must apply for Level I if: - You have never been certified as a Graduate Advisor or have not been certified since July 2003. You must include a sealed official transcript from the Registrar Office, with official seal, that confirms you are at least five-year post baccalaureate with your application. (Please note that we will not return your transcript after evaluation process.) - Your certification expired before February 1, 2018; no transcript. You must apply for Level II if: - You have a current Graduate Advisor certification; no transcript needed. - If your certification has expired within 24 months of February 1, 2020, you may take Level II. All sorors must have both signatures of Basileus AND Grammateus on the chapter verification section. Only an original application is acceptable. The International Graduate Advisors’ Certification Committee will email approval or denial confirmation ten (10) days before the certification training. - If application and/or registration for training is not submitted by deadline, your application will be denied. - Sorors that pay but deemed ineligible will receive a refund AFTER the end of all conferences. Instructions for Graduate Advisor Certification (GAC) Training at Regional Conference: 1. Application must contain all signatures and postmarked by February 1, 2020 to the Corporate Office (ATTN: GAC Training, 5656 S. Stony Island Avenue, Chicago, IL 60637). If the application is not completed in its entirety, it may be deemed ineligible. 2. You must register online and pay for Graduate Advisor certification with your Regional Conference registration. Registration fee is $40.00 and includes: Graduate Advisors’ Certification Training Manual, Undergraduate Membership Intake Manual, General Information for the Collegian, Fiscal Fitness, and Anti-Hazing Handbook. ***The deadline to register for training is the last day of early registration.*** Instructions for Graduate Advisor Certification (GAC) Training at Boule: 1. Application must contain all signatures and postmarked by April 15, 2020 to the Corporate Office (ATTN: GAC Training, 5656 S. Stony Island Avenue, Chicago, IL 60637). If the application is not completed in its entirety, it may be deemed ineligible. 2. You must register online and pay for Graduate Advisor certification with your Boule registration.
