a spontaneous decision ( no firm plan before speaking / the decision was made at the time of
speaking)
example:
Hold on. I'll get a pen.
We will see what we can do to help you.
Wait, I will help you.
an opinion, hope, uncertainty or assumption regarding the future
example:
Maybe we'll stay in and watch television tonight.
He will probably come back tomorrow.
a promise
example: I will not watch TV tonight.
We often use ‘’will’’ with the verbs ‘’think, promise, believe, hope or sure’’
I think I’ll go to the gym tomorrow.
I think she’ll talk to you soon.
I don’t think I’ll buy that car.
I hope they’ll meet us next week.
I am sure he will call me tonight.
