Presenter: Good evening everybody! Adrenalin Over starts. This evening, our guest is Steve
Davidson. He is a hot air balloon pilot. Welcome to our program. Mr. Davidson.
Mr. Davidson: Hello, First of all I want to thank you for inviting me your program. I am very happy
to be here.
Presenter: Well, I want to ask some questions to you. Firstly, how did you decide to be a hot air
balloon pilot and how did you become it?
Mr. Davidson: I am from Cappadocia,Nevşehir, Türkiye. You know there are always hot air balloon
rides in our city. When I was a child, I got up early and watched the balloons with sunrise. They were
very huge and seemed nice. I joined hot air balloon ride a few times and decided to be a pilot at that
time. There were courses to be a pilot. After I graduated from university, I attended it and got my
license.
Presenter: Is it a difficult job or does it have any danger?
Mr. Davidson: Of course every job has some difficulties. By the way hot air balloon ride seems easy
but it is not as well. The difficulties of it are the dangers in fact. The biggest danger is the wind.
Foggy and rainy weathers are also the other dangers. If the wind drags the balloon, you may lost your
control. Also you may get lost in foggy weather or rainy weather. We never start rides if the weather
conditions aren’t good.
Presenter: So, have you ever experienced any dangers?
Mr. Davidson: Well, after a short time I took off the balloon, the wind started to blow strongly
suddenly. The balloon started to shake and passengers were in panic but I could land the balloon in a
short time. We were really lucky.
Presenter: Thanks for joining our program Mr. Davidson.
Mr. Davidson: You are welcome.
