LEADING the WAY L eadership is a big part of who we are at GMercyU , and leading with Mercy is growing increasingly important in this ever-changing world . Like Catherine McAuley , our Mercydriven leaders aspire to create change in and around their communities . For 75 years , GMercyU has inspired kind , compassionate leaders committed to making a difference .

My first leadership experience was dipping my toes into Student Government , getting involved in campus events and leadership retreats , and understanding what it takes to learn and grow as a person . After I graduated , with the support of my family and school community , I went on to graduate school for physical therapy and graduated with my doctorate . After dabbling in different avenues of physical therapy , including outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine , I have settled down for the past seven years as a home health physical therapist , primarily in Southwest Philadelphia , for Penn Medicine .
