تقول القصة أن الملك شهريار ، عندما اكتشف أن زوجته ا�ولى كانت غير مخلصة له ، قرر الزواج من امرأة عذراء جديدة كل يوم وقطع رأسها في صباح اليوم التالي قبل أن تتمكن من إهانة شرفه . لذا ، فإن لشهرزاد وجهان في القصة : الوجه ا�ول هو الذي تظهره للملك . والوجه الثاني هو الذي يظهر فيه خوفها من ان تقتل في صباح اليوم التالي . يعكس العمل الطريقة التي تسرد فيها القصص ولا تنهيها في ليلة واحدة .

. So , Scheherazade has two faces in the story : The first face is the one that she presents to the monarch . The second face is the one afraid of being killed on the next morning . The work reflects the way she tells stories and does not end them in one night
