When Hussam brought the base of his artwork FUTURE to BAIT TARKIB he suddenly became a new nickname : ‹ Mr . Five Ton ›. The base of his artwork is a circle shaped iron rack , too heavy to move easily . Imagine , at first he wanted to make it much bigger .
For a year now , Hussam works as an art teacher in a primary school . Once he told us a story from his life as a teacher : He entered the classroom and found himself in front of a bunch of sad looking kids . He asked the kids what is bothering you ? We can draw it . The first kid said : « One of the teachers did not let me go to the toilet , even not after 40 minutes of asking .» The second kid said : « I had a nightmare last night and woke up with a very heavy headache .» The third kid said : « One of the teachers shouted at me and this made me very sad .» So , he let the kids draw their feelings .
FUTURE is using children drawings , the outcome of his lessons . Future is talking about the different views of a single person › s life , starting from the perspective of a child and ongoing changes .
عندما جلب حسام قاعدة عمله الفني » المستقبل « إلى بيت تركيب ، فجأة أصبح له لقب جديد : » السيد خمسة طن ». ان قاعدة عمله الفني عبارة عن دولاب حديدي على شكل دائرة ، ثقيل جدً ا بحيث لا يمكن نقله بسهولة . . تخيل ، في اول الامر أراد أن يجعله أكبر بكثير منذ عام واحد يعمل حسام كمدرس فنون في مدرسة ابتدائية . ذات مرة أخبرنا قصة من حياته كمدرس . دخل الفصل ووجد نفسه أمام مجموعة من ا�طفال الحزينين . سأل ا�طفال ما الذي يضايقكم ؟ يمكننا ان نرسم ذلك . قال الطفل ا�ول : » أحد المعلمين لم يسمح لي بالذهاب إلى الحمام ، حتى بعد ٤٠ دقيقة من طلب ذلك ». قال الطفل الثاني : » رأيت كابوسا الليلة الماضية واستيقظت مصابًا بصداع شديد ». قال الطفل الثالث : » صرخ أحد المدرسين بوجهي مما جعلني حزينا للغاية ». لذلك ، ترك . ا�طفال يرسمون مشاعرهم ان » المستقبل « يستخدم رسومات ا�طفال ، نتاج دروسه . يتحدث المستقبل عن النظرة المختلفة للحياة التي يعيشها المرء على مدار حياته ، بدءًا من منظور ا�طفال وكيف سيتغير
