King Tut rarely had any accomplishments. Even
though he rarely had any, he is known as the
youngest pharaoh of Egypt and furthermore. In
Ancient Egypt, pharaohs have absolute power to be
capable of marring their own siblings. This would
affect the royal bloodline of next pharaoh with the
royal blood inside. King Tut, the youngest boy
pharaoh to rule Egypt, still causes researchers
confusion about his life, mysterious death, and his
tomb.
Researchers are still confused and are aware
of the past of King Tut, his family and ruling, but in
summary, his life. When Tut was cared for by his
nurse and later became king when 9 or 10, he then
married
his
sister
Ankhesenamun
to
continue
the
royal
bloodline for Egypt. As
said
in
Egypt
documentaries, he and
Ankhesenamun were the
love of their life.
Around the same time
period when he became
king, he joined the army
as captain which is
unexpectedly surprising
due to being a young age to be leader of war. King
Tut and Ankhesenamun had children as well, two
stillborn daughters. Unfortunately, one daughter died
at 5-6 months of pregnancy and 9 months pregnancy
for the other daughter. Also, researchers couldn’t find
evidence why it came to be so; there may be no
solution of the King Tut’s daughters’ death.
Researchers are extended confused of King
Tut, not only his life but what questions researchers
is his death. There are a lot of possibilities of his
death. Some say he had a broken leg which then
became infected. Others say he got bitten from a
mosquito which had poison, or he got assassinated
from behind by the enemy, or he fell down and got
ran over by his own chariot. In the book, “The Curse
of King Tut’s Tomb” author states how he was run
over by a chariot or murdered by enemy from behind.
The author also states how medical couldn’t help
him, they were afraid that
they would be blamed by
the pharaoh’s death if
they fail. In his tomb
there were moss and
fungus on the walls,
which would possibly
cause death whom enters.
In the comic, “Curse of
Tut’s Tomb”, the death
of
Carter
from
a
mosquito bite which
contained poison on his cheek shows King Tut’s
mummy with a scar from a mosquito bite which
might’ve caused his death.
Researchers say that there is a curse upon
King Tut; some say it’s just coincidental that deaths
occur from nature, but it’s still a mystery about King
Tut’s tomb called a curse. The death of Howard
Carver occurred when he stole riches to be wealthy.
His selfishness becoming wealthy has lead to his
death. Other deaths occurred when finding Tut’s
tomb, like falling, car accidents, sickness, and etc. In
the comic, “The Curse of King Tut’s Tomb”
illustrates priest of ancient Egypt quoting, “Whom
steal from this tomb cause death.” The sinking of the
Titanic might have
occurred because of
the curse. In the comic
as
before,
News
blamed the sinking of
the Titanic, thoughts
that
there
were
mummies on the ship.
In
Conclusion, King Tut
in that time period
was an innocent and brave young pharaoh that died in
his teen years of 18 or 19. King Tut, the youngest boy
pharaoh to rule Egypt, still causes researchers
confusion about his life, death, and tomb. King Tut’s
discovery in Egypt has caused new mysteries to the
Ancient World and might always be a mystery in
history.
