STEP 4 :
Mix your acrylic paint colours . You ’ ll want a strong pink , a lighter
pink and maybe a white . When you ’ re happy with the colours
you ’ ve mixed , brush acrylic paint onto your large flower print
block . Print your large blooms first , in clusters , all over the space .
Allow to dry .
STEP 5 :
Now , using the same technique , print with your smaller shapes .
Allowing the paint to dry between applications .
STEP 6 :
Use the edge of a thin piece of card to print branches onto your
paper with dark brown acrylic paint .
And voila ! You can hang your long , thin print up on your wall , or use it to wrap gifts if you like . It ’ s up to you ! This technique can be used to print anything you like , so why not see what you can come up with ?
POLLY WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR CHERRY BLOSSOM PRINTS .
