She is founder and CEO of The Southern PaSH Company LLC , a public relations and consulting firm that uses strategic planning , research and digital mediums to achieve communication goals .
The Southern PaSH Company publishes a magazine , Red PaSH Magazine , and Kay acts as editor-in-chief .
Before starting her career in the field of communications , Kaneshia made a name for herself as an interior decorator and home stager as owner of KanShe Staging .
As a reflection of her creative side , Kay acted as head photographer and owner of KLS Photography for many years .
Kay is a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds a B . A . in mass communications and a minor in psychology .
