The Boy Who Cried Wolf – Aesop There once was a shepherd boy who kept his flock at a little distance from the village. He would scream,“ Wolf!” and the villagers would come running in panic to help the boy; but there was no wolf. The boy continued to do this and the villagers kept coming until one day he screamed,“ Wolf!” and no villagers came. Can you guess who did come? The Wolf! The boy ran away but all the sheep were lost.
