Bryan was walking home after school. He noticed the clouds darkened with every step. He was only half-‐ way home before he felt a plump cold drop of rain hit the tip of his nose. He began to run home but it started to rain very hard. He remembered he had an old magazine in his backpack. He took it out and opened it up above his head. The rain stopped falling on his face. It was no umbrella, but it was better than nothing.
