Offsetters (India) Pvt. Ltd.,

I came from Udupi in Ker-
ala and this is my third visit
to Printpack but my first visit
to this exhibition at this loca-
tion. This is a big show and it
is organized well. I saw many
interesting live running press-
es. Since I am a commercial
printer, I am looking for new
sheetfed offset presses and
postpress equipment. Although
the offset print demand in our
area (Udupi Kerala) is low be-
cause of increasing digital, we
are still positive and hopeful
for the printing market to keep
growing.
However, we faced many
difficulties to reach this exhibi-
tion location. We had no idea
about the exhibition venue and This is my 13th visit to
Printpack. The current Print-
pack is well organized and bet-
ter organized than the previous
Printpack exhibitions. The fa-
cilities and layout of this exhi-
bition are very good, though in
Hall 9, it was very crowded.
I came from Patna in Bi-
har and I am a commercial and
book printer having in-house fa-
cilities for sheetfed offset, web
offset and digital presses. I want
to upgrade some of my presses,
so I am looking for latest tech-
nology in this exhibition. We are
planning for new sheetfed and
web offset presses with full au-
tomation. We are also planning
for a UV coater machine and
postpress equipment.

Pintpack is our mini-drupa.
This is our second visit to
Printpack. The exhibition is
excellent – the arrangements
like exhibition layout, trans-
port facilities, availability of
food and water, cleanliness are
very good. I will say this is a
mini-drupa; this is not as large
as drupa but this is not small as
well. The organizers did a good
job. Those who are not able
to visit drupa, they must visit
Printpack.
We are the largest newspa-
per publisher in Bangladesh.
We publish two newspapers,
the English language news-
paper The Daily Star and the
Bengali language newspaper
Prothom Alo. We are looking
for latest technology innova-
tion in web offset presses and
postpress at this exhibition. We
are also looking for other tech-
nologies like flexography, post-
press and binding equipment.

This is my 4th visit to Print-
pack. The show is organized
well but the timing of the show
is not good; because of fog and
winter, flights and trains got de-
layed.
Printpack is a good plat-
form to meet hidden suppliers
and their technologies. We can
also explore our knowledge by
seeing running processes and
meeting with the right person.
I am a commercial printer
from Raipur. The printing mar-
ket in Raipur is growing but
upgraded technologies are not
available. Only 25% of pack-
aging job is done in Raipur; the
remaining is done outside of
Raipur.We are looking for new
and upgraded technologies to
provide better services to cus-
tomers.
There is no growth in the
newspaper industry in Bangla-
desh, and circulation has gone
down by 10% in the last year
because digital newspapers and
online media are growing.
In his final comment, Akand
said the IPAMA team and IPP
group also are doing well for
the printing society and com-
munity. Keep doing it.
