The initial design brief was relatively simple. A scrambler style, low seat height, light weight and a style to near-match The Flying Scotsman.
With the experience of building the Scotsman many of the ideas were already in place with just a few tweeks along the way.
The single seat, rear luggage rack, engine bars, skid plate were all slight differences in addition to the square headlight, matching mirror sets and chrome switchgear - although we stuck with the wireless look all round.
JM Customs hit the mark with the details of the engine. Stripped, painted and with the cooling fans accented the 80's 450 looks like new.
With the stock header, pipes and megaphone muffler and with a little work on the carbs and a few seals is purring like she's just out of the box and looking every ounce of the classic scrambler part with the titanium wrap.
A bit of protection by the way of the custom made steel engine bars and aluminium skid
