ran a bit wide and led then race for a while as the conditions worsened.

Half way through the race I started to have some slight technical issues that meant I was dropping fractions of a second here and there and that allowed Richard Reid and Chrissy Rouse to close on me eventually passing me and I dropped to 5th.

That is where the race ended and whilst it wasn't the finish I was hoping for, in either the dry or wet conditions another I took another 22 points away from the weekend at Knockhill to maintain 5th overall in the championship and close in on Lee Jackson sitting 4th.

There's still a ling way to go this season but the gap to 4th and even 3rd (Alex Olsen) has closed again and I have to keep chipping away to gain ground on them.

I left Knockhill on a very positive note, points in the bag, home crowd support and having had the chance to get up close with the Scottish fans once again in our own hospitality tent.

I can't thank the fans enough and of course everyone that supports the team including family and sponsors. They all made it a spectacular weekend.
