My home round was always going to be a bit more pressure to perform for the Scottish fans and with the weather at Knockhill looking very good at the start of the weekend we were off to a good start through practice and qualifying.

We weren't setting spectacular times at first as we were running on old tyres but were building on the bike settings for the races and having qualified 7th I felt I was in a good position and had more to give during the races.

Race one on Saturday was a good fight and I finished 5th but felt I had more to give over the weekend. All in all it was a good finish to kick off the weekend but the weather breaking on the Saturday evening and thunderstorms rolling in it looked like Race 2 was going to be a wet one.

I've been showing good pace in the wet all season and this put added pressure of a win but I had to take it and get on with the job at hand.

Race 2 was indeed wet, very wet and at one point I thought it would be stopped. I got sa good start from 8th on the grib and was quickly up behind Tayor MacKenzie and Richard Cooper following them towards the end of lap one. At the hairpin on the first lap I managed to pass both of them when they
