IT'S NOT ONLY ABOUT WINNING
KNOCKHILL'S BRITISH SUPERBIKE WEEKEND THREW SOME CURVE BALLS AT THE RIDERS BUT THEY TOOK IT ALL IN THEIR STRIDE
It was a difficult weekend at Knockhill Racing Circuit with the weather and some bad luck throwing problems the riders way but that's how it goes sometimes.
Although the anticipation of results from the fans may not materialise the riders have to take whatever is thrown at them and focus on the next part of their season.
That was certainly the case for Adon Davie this weekend when he was taken out of practice on the first lap with the bike badly damaged and in qualifying losing a footpeg that resulted in him not qualifying to race this weekend. The young man kept his chin up and moved on as the hope of getting to race faded through no fault of his own,.
Meanwhile Lewis Rollo is maintaining his results on the Aprilia and scoring more points in the championship to close in on the 4th place rider in Superstock 1000.
He's been showing great pace all year and is clearly growing a a mature racer keeping a level head regardless of the conditions and circumstances. Two 5th place finishes this weekend are a credit to his determination and race skill.
Ross Maguire has been out at Knockhill again setting ever impriving times and getting his best race finish of the season in the Motostar series.and Jack Hart has been busy with the European Talent Cup chipping away at his laps times and improving in what is an incredibly competitive field with some of the top riders from across Europe competing.
