Trial is placed in history and now it's time to plan for 2020 ans establishing Team56N to take on the challenge again.
Neil Dawson, Allan Adamson, Graame Wilson and Duncan Wood led the way in the 2019 SSDT and have set the bar high for riders interested in taking on the SSDT next year.
The selection process begins today and will go through a number four phases up to the final team selection.
All participants must be eligible to compete in the SSDT 2020 as per the terms and rules of the SSDT that can be found on their website at www.ssdt.org.
Additionally, the offer is limited to Scottish riders under the age of 25 (at 1 May 2020) and should not have competed in the SSDT previously.
Only two novice riders will be selected.
The sponsorship will include full support throughout the SSDT week and will include mentoring and guidance from an experienced rider (riding as a pair), bike, technical support, accommodation and mobile support.
Eligble riders should communicate their interest by email (click below) following with additional information will be provided.
The process will include short-listing prospective riders and later, a presentation to the judging panel from short-listed riders related to their riding experience to the judging panel and their SSDT prospects.
