The residents at Heritage Home for Women enjoy the friendship and companionship of a congregate environment in a home-like setting. Friendly staff are available, round-the-clock, to give a helping hand whenever needed. The following programs and services are provided in a caring manner: — Personal Care — “Everyone is good to me. If I need anything, they are right there to help.” You won’t find a more consistent, caring, and dedicated personal care team anywhere. Our staff of 32 provide care for 36 women. Our Home is known for having extraordinarily high staff morale and retention. Our Personal Care Aides can assist with dressing, bathing, toileting, hygiene, oral care, grooming, nail care, and making beds. Our full time laundress will wash your clothing, iron, and help you put things away. Housekeeping cleans the house daily, with weekly cleaning of each resident’s room. — MediCation ManagMent — You won’t have to worry about your medications now. Your medications will be ordered and delivered to the Home. Our dedicated Charge Aides will ensure you get your pills at the right time every day and report to your doctor any trouble you may be having. — Food serviCe — Have lunch with us and meet some of the ladies – you’ll be glad you did! Delicious, home-made meals are what you’ll find in our lovely dining room. Residents enjoy music and conversation while our attentive staff see to everyone’s selections and comfort. Our staff also provide assistance at the table when needed, provides snacks several times each day to our Residents and caters to special diets. — aCtivities — Whatever your interests are, we’ll arrange for you to continue them here! Heritage Home for Women seeks to encourage residents to stay active by providing a variety of things to do every day. Some of our ladies enjoy staying physically active through our daily exercise classes, modified golf, bowling, local trips and outings, or participating in our walking club.
