or nearly 150 years, The Home of the Good Shepherd has been
a recognized leader in providing superior care in Assisted
Living and Enhanced Assisted Living. Our Enhanced Assisted Living
care is a continuum of care that allows residents to “age in place.”
All of our communities are locally owned and operated in beautiful
Saratoga County and fully licensed by the NYS Department of Health.
We currently have five communities located in Malta, Moreau, Wilton,
Saratoga Springs and our newest community located at 400 Church
Street in Saratoga Springs. Our newest community is Now Open and
we continue to provide customized care plans for each resident
including nursing assessments and skilled nursing tasks; 24-hour
care seven days a week with an RN onsite; meals, housekeeping and
laundry services; warm and inviting private suites, daily activities,
and transportation.
The Home of the Good Shepherd dining services are the cornerstone
of our steadfast commitment to provide superior, gracious quality of
living for all of our residents. Our talented culinary staff are onsite
in each community and offer fresh, nutritious and in-season meal
options. We also prepare meals to specifically meet therapeutic diets
as ordered by a physician. Our residents truly enjoy three freshly
prepared meals each day and snacks during the morning, afternoon
and evening.
