“ Receiving this award is a great honor for me . As a striker , you live for scoring goals , but some are more than just a goal – they stay in your memory . This was one of those , a perfect mix of technique , athleticism , and timing . The ball from Leon Goretzka came in high , difficult to control . I had to fully stretch to bring it down cleanly . In that moment , I knew : if everything came together , this could be something special . I managed to control the ball and finished with a header – a combination of instinct and focus . Goals like this are rare , and this was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful of my career . You can feel it the moment it happens , when everything just clicks . My wife was thrilled afterward and jokingly said she never knew I was that flexible . Moments like these are what make football so special .“
