BAYERN FAMILY

Family , even in difficult times : After dismissals
( here Jupp Heynckes in 1991 ) there were sometimes tears , but you could always look each other in the eye – not least over red wine , cards and cigars .
messes up sometimes too . Moving on also means understanding each other , forgiving mistakes , giving way . That ‘ s why I always had such a deep relationship with our players . What great fights I had with Mario Basler , Olli Kahn , Stefan Effenberg ! They all say : “ You could have a brilliant argument with Hoeneß – but he never bore a grudge !“ Will the family feeling continue to shape things at Säbener Straße , or is the end of an era in sight ? It ‘ s got a lot to do with the character of the people in charge . Having a value scale is important . I for example am in a phase of my life when I want to give something back . I ‘ ve been doing it for years , and it ‘ s only going to get stronger . I ‘ ve always been lucky enough to be able to let go in my family , and that ‘ s one of the reasons why I consider it important that our club functions like a big family . It ‘ s been a common thread at FC Bayern to this day , that everyone helps anyone who ‘ s in need . Let ‘ s take a look at your greatest Bayern moments : your goals in the European Cup final against Atlético Madrid , the Champions League triumph in 2013 ,
I NEVER WANTED TO BE EVERYBODY ' S DARLING
