STEP 2 :
Nominate a player to be the first up . They should choose an emotion , then act out that emotion to the other players using only facial expressions , gestures and body movements . Try using as many different parts of your body as you can to show how you are feeling , including your eyes , mouth , nose , eyebrows , arms and feet ! Can your teammates guess what the emotion is ?
STEP 3 :
The other teammates should take it in turns to guess the emotion being communicated by player one . The player who guesses correctly must then step up and take their turn at acting out a different emotion .
TAKING IT FURTHER
For a fun twist on this game, imagine you are a Japanese macaque that has just tried a new behaviour for the first time – maybe you ’ ve taken a warm bath or learned how to wash sweet potatoes , or learnt how to drive a moped ( pre� y sure that ’ s not a thing , ed ). Decide what the new behaviour is , and whether or not this new behaviour has a positive or negative outcome . Then, use mime to show it to the rest of the players . Your teammates can copy you to help them work out what you are doing , then guess what the new behaviour is – all without speaking a word !
