My major is Sociology and one day I hope to establish and lead an organization that works with teenagers and young adults.

The mission of the organization would be to develop a philosophy of expression in young adults so that they can organize and execute their thoughts, ideas and goals thoroughly in every aspect of their lives.

My purpose at this moment of my life is to develop myself and expand my abilities in every aspect of my life. I feel as though being in college at this stage of my life encourages my leadership, organizational, creativity and responsibility skills.

I felt so refreshed reading over what I wrote a few months ago. My vitae included exactly what I wanted out of my major, a mission statement for the future, where I’m going with this thing called Sociology, the purpose for me being in school and overall what I’m doing with my life at this moment. I totally forget that I wrote this and needless to say, I was in complete awe.

2 And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. [Habakkuk 2:2]

6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. [Philippians 4:6]

28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. [Romans 8:28]

So today I’m encouraging you to not over look the need to write things down. Pick up the pen and write it down – goals, aspirations, desires of your heart, what you want in that husband or that wife, what you want from your new job, what you want out of school, what you want out of life, what you want from God; put it on paper and hide it in your heart because you risk more when you do nothing.

-You don’t have to agree with me, just promise you’d empathize – RB.H
