How to create a people map:
Ask: “Father,

WHO have you placed
around me?”
Who are the people in the
relationship networks where
He has placed you? These
include family, neighbourhood,
workplace and social networks.
A mind map can help visualise.
pray: “Father,

HOW do you want to
involve me?”
Pray over the names and
networks on your mind map.
If Bible verses, thoughts or
pictures come to mind in relation
to particular names or groups, jot
them down and pray about them.

Listen: “Father,
WHERE are you at
work?”
Put down your pen and spend
some time looking over the mind
map, prayerfully reflecting and
listening to the Father.

By this stage, God may have
already shown you what you can
do in response to your prayer
time. Examples could include
giving a word of encouragement,
practical help, sharing a spiritual
story, continuing to pray for a
person or group - anything.
The people map then becomes a living and
growing prayer resource for you as God puts new
people around you and answers prayer. It’s a great
guide to pray over personally, as well as together.
