How does it help animal cruelty?
Chemical hair products are really bad for our environment. The majority of hair products we use that contains chemicals are first tested in animals to see if they work or not. They test all types of chemical products in animals and the majority of times animals get really affected or even killed. This are the types of animal cruelty: injecting or force feeding animals with potentially harmful substances exposing animals to radiation, surgically removing animals’ organs or tissues to deliberately cause damage, forcing animals to inhale toxic gases subjecting animals to frightening situations to create anxiety and depression.” A large proportion of animal experiments in the EU are reported to cause ‘moderate’ or ‘severe suffering’ to the animals - according to the researchers who carry them out. In the UK in 2016, 35% of animal experiments involved moderate or severe suffering, Some experiments require the animal to die as part of the test. For example, regulatory tests for botox, vaccines and some tests for chemical safety are essentially variations of the cruel Lethal Dose 50 test in which 50% of the animals die or are killed very close to death”.
We need to avoid chemical products because it is very important to our environment because avoiding chemical products in our hairs can also avoid animal cruelty. Most of the hair products that we apply, use the animals to test their products. What they do is that they apply the products to the animals to see if they can have any serious effect on the skin. This is very bad and very cruel because when they apply this the animals suffer abdominal pain, diarrhea, convulsions, seizures, paralysis, or bleeding from the nose, mouth, or genitals before they ultimately die or are killed. This is so sad and cruel for animals and we should stop it. If we use natural products instead of chemical products, we can somehow help avoiding animal cruelty.
