LEADERS' CORNER

Thank You to the two clubs who signed up to participate in the Communications curriculum to use during meetings this year! I can't wait to hear back from you about this program.

As you elect club officers and Council representatives, please remind them of the responsibilities of their office. They need to make sure that they are have meeting dates on their calendar and arranging for substitutes if they cannot attend.

Financial Reviews - These need to be completed and turned in to the Extension Office BY November 1! Link to the form HERE

ZSuite Training - Kansas 4-H will be moving forward with a second year in the pilot program for ZSuites. This easy-to-use platform allows you to access on a laptop, tablet, or your phone for quick and regular updates! This does replace the KAP for Junior and Intermediate 4-H members (Seniors will continue to use the existing format). Each ZSuite record is a separate project record and a great place to collect and record project learning all year. Have 4-H members start NOW with establishing project goals and updating their ZSuite records all year.

As a reminder, you may have taken 2 steers and a heifer as fair entries but your project and KAP would be BEEF.

Volunteer Status

Providing a safe environment for youth to explore and learn is one of the fundamentals of 4-H! In order to provide that safe environment, all 4-H volunteers must complete the Volunteer Registration Process. Kansas 4-H policy requires that that each club have at least two leaders who have completed this process.

For more information on the process, please access the LINK. To check on your status, please contact Michelle.

It will soon be time to update your 4-H Online profile and volunteer training!

THANK YOU for your willingness to make a difference in the life of a 4-H member.
