Southeast Middle School The Southeast Middle School Cheerleaders went to UCA camp this summer at Mississippi State University. The girls came home with several awards: 1st place in Band Dance, 2nd place in Camp Cheer, 2nd place in Sideline Cheer, 2nd Overall. We are so proud of our girls! Our activity/intervention period is now twice a week this year. The students are enjoying enrichment and intervention during this time. Mrs. Ethridge, 6th grade inclusion teacher, has taken on Art this month. Students focused this month on “taking something old and making something new.” We have a new librarian this year, Mrs. Kristi Williamson, at Southeast Middle School. The kids are enjoying open reading as a reward during intervention. Students are working hard toward achieving their AR goals for the first nine weeks. Each nine weeks the librarian is offering an incentive for reaching a certain number of points. 8
