Winning teams learn coding in-person and online from MIT experts to turn their idea into a mobile app. A great hands-on project for Social Studies, Science, Math, and Language Arts. Students in middle school and high school can enter. PROMOTES TEAMWORK. Teams of 5-7 students develop ideas and present their concepts. BUILDS CHARACTER. Identifying a problem they want to solve fosters empathy in students. TEACHES CRITICAL THINKING. Inspires STEM learning and addresses key standards, including Common Core.
