Keeptrimmingitdownuntilitslideseasilyinsidethebiggercarot . Itshouldstayinsidethehole , butnotgetstuck . Onceyougettheblockto therightsize , cutasuperthinsectionoff , soithasaslightstraightedge . Thisshouldn ’ tbebig – itisjusttoletabitofairinsidetherecorderwhen yoyoublowonit . Onceyouhavedonethis , slidetheblockintothecarotso thestraightedgelinesupwiththewindow . Theblockshouldnotgoso deepthatitcoversanyofthewindowfrom theinside . Ifanyoftheblock sticksoutthetopofthecarot , chopifoffsotheedgeis�at . Seeimageon theright .

Usingapinorapencil , markwhereyouwouldliketohave5-7holesalong yourcarot , underthewindow . Youcanpickthebestspotsbyholdingit andseeingwhereyour�ngersrest . You ’ lidealywantaround2cm orjust overbetweeneachhole . Usingdifferentsizeddrilbits , makedifferent sizedholes ( between0.24-0.60cm wide ). Havingholesofdifferentsizes wilalowyourrecordertomakedifferentsounds , soitishandythatthey aren ’ talthesamesize . Seeimageontheright .
