QUICK FIRE QUESTIONS Writer: P. Togi-Sa'ena How did attending the awards and being part of the VPMA impact you? Being my irst time, i think I was blown away by the entire event. Was very cool. Can you please share your favourite memory from the 2017 VPMA ceremony The opening with the MOANA ceremony was incredible ! How and why are the VPMAs important – to you, to other artists, to the industry? I’ve attached a photo as to how important the music awards were to me :) I think as a Maori / Paci ic artist, it’s great honour to be a acknowledged by the Paci ic Music Awards. Can you outline what winning the awards meant to you? It was a trip, I think going into any type of award ceremony when your nominated is abit nerve racking. To win some is even more nerve racking but also a con idence boost and nice to have my works recognised! Was there one award that meant more than the others?  If yes, why? The producer award meant a lot, I’ve been producing music for 6-7 years now , from Advertising Commercial music to Gym Music .. and now as a performing artist, producing my own music. My favourite!! 2 26 6 f fourfour.co.nz o u r f o u r .cc o . n z 4/4
