Emily confirms, “we know that we are really lucky and blessed to have a strong family.” actually believes in us. She not only supports us, or looks after kids, or is on set running around, or gets a phone call ‘Mum we need this…can you go and grab it now... like now’, she funds our crazy ideas.” In particular Vea and Emily talk about the support from their Mum. They acknowledge that they wouldn’t be able to do their work and would have to get proper jobs, without her support. Vea: “she’s just very supportive with anything. She is the financial support and one day we will pay her back. But she always has our back when things are rough.” Emily: “we’re extremely lucky in that we have a Mother that is a 3 part film series, ‘Aho’eitu, The Legend of Kava Tonga and Le Atali’i which they filmed in Tonga, in 2015. The project was funded by Creative New Zealand and the coconet.tv. A motivation for the project, was to encourage DIGITAL FANANGA “WE KNOW THAT WE ARE REALLY LUCKY AND BLESSED TO HAVE A STRONG FAMILY.” Digital Fananga was a significant project for Malosi Pictures.
