art for the show’s set. She liked
what she saw and asked Vea to
come and be her assistant. Vea
enlisted Emily to be her assistant
and that is how they got into the
television industry. They have
continued as freelancers and
acknowledge Lisa Tauoma, who
has always been a real strong
support person for both of them,
especially for giving them work.
This included working in various

roles on Fresh, the coconet.tv,
and Game of Bros. They have
also worked with Ngaire Fuata
and Tagata Pasifika, who have
always been really supportive
and have given them a number of
great opportunities.
