year, The 14th Annual
Convention of Adventure
Tour Operators Association
of India (ATOAI) was held
in Araku Valley, Andhra
Pradesh between January
17-19, 2019.
Over
250
participants
attended the convention
from leading adventure tour
operators, hotels, DMCs,
State Tourism Boards, travel
trade from Andhra Pradesh
as well as the neighboring
states in South India,
officials from the Ministry
of Tourism, bloggers and
media to interacted and
networked
during
the
convention days.

The 14th Annual Convention
of ATOAI was kicked off
on 17th January at Haritha
Valley Resort in Araku in the
Eastern Ghats of India, were
welcomed by Secretary
Andhra Pradesh Tourism
Mr. Mukesh Kumar Meena
and
CEO
APTA
Mr. Himanshu Shukla and
President
ATOAI
Capt
Swadesh Kumar. This was
followed by a keynote
speech
by
Mr
Huw
Kingston,
a
famous
adventurer from Australia
who has been on many
expeditions in India.
Mr. Huw Kingston is a well
known Australian Adventurer,
writer and environmentalist.
He has spent over 30
years undertaking long
human powered journeys in
