It was the world’s highest BASE jump off the earth at the time. •In 1996, one jumper was injured and three landed safely in the only authorized BASE jump from Seattle’s Space Needle. •On October 23, 1998, Avner Tshori and Inbar Raz BASE jumped from Azrieli Center’s round building which was at that time the highest tower in the Middle-East, in the first documented BASE jump in Israel. •On October 22, 1999, Jan Davis died while attempting a BASE jump from El Capitan in Yosemite Valley.
