EXPANSION, BREAKING DOWN THE EGO CONTINUED
Some may wonder,”How
can calibrating an ego
be possible?” Remember
the biblical saying in
Philippians 4:13,
“I can do all things
through Christ who
strengthens me.” Since
the all-knowing
Universal Christ
reflects to most of us
the symbol of
perfection, then it’s
only fair that we are
as perfect as the one
whose strength we call
upon. It is said that
we’re made in his own
image in Genesis 1:27.
For most, that concept
is hard to believe,
even if the proof is
written. Regardless of
your belief, we’re all
an expression of that
Christ Consciousness.
However, we sometimes
stall at connecting
those details because
of ego conditioning
that jumps at the
chance of reminding us
of the “sinner self.”
The “sinner self” holds
only a small
perspective of ourself
in relation to the
world due to our
limiting and
egotistical views about
ourself and the world
around us. This keeps
us from fully tapping
into the true meaning
of it all. For starters
do you know what the
ego truly is and how it
relates to you?...
Let’s explore.
Exploring The Ego
By exploring the ego
we’re taking a closer
look at what it really
is and how it serves or
hinders us. By
examining the technical
definition and making
contrast to its nature
referring to us and the
world we create through
it. We will began to
understand our own
turbulent behaviors and
how to manage them by
sharing a clear
understanding of how we
function as an enemy to
our own creator within.
As per Wikipedia and
research done by
Sigmund Freud,the ego
is described as one of
three parts to the
psyche--the id, ego and
super-ego.
Mechanically, they
operate as a unit to
give more definition to
our chosen identity.
The id can be describe
as the impulsive you,
also associated in
esoteric knowledge as
the the basic behavior
ruled by the root
chakra. This part of
the psyche is
responsible for your
primitive nature and
animal-like instincts
that rule the survival
magnesium. Sigmund
Freud managed to see
this function as the
primal sexual energy of
an individual that in
turn rules humankind’s
violent and most evil
urges, labeling this
part of the psyche as
undeveloped, dark,
unorganized and unaware
of its direct actions
when initiated. Freud
also stated its main
function is only to
satisfy its addictions
and/or basic desires.
Moving forward in
Freud’s theory, the ego
itself is basically the
cover for these desires
and it serves to
protect the true
identity by projecting
a face value persona in
the world in which it
lives. The general
purpose of this part of
the psyche is to turn
the manipulative
behavior of the id into
a long-term benefit
that will not suffer at
the hands of grief. In
other words, the id is
not a good recipient of
“reaping what it has
sown,” and looks not to
evolve out of the
infant stages of its
deformed-like
behaviors.
