HP showcases wide range of applications for industry players
Printpack 2019: HP Inc. highlights scope on digital printing

t the ongoing Printpack India
show in Greater Noida, HP
Inc. India is showcasing vari-
ous possibilities with digital printing.
The company is showcasing its vast
portfolio of industry-leading digital
printing innovations and highlighting
the potential for print service provid-
ers, print convertors, brand owners and
marketers across verticals including
FMCG, pharma, retail, food and bever-
age, health and beauty.
The expo witnesses participation
from many brands and brand profes-
sionals who can experience solutions
from segments such as general com-
mercial printing, design, signages and
displays, labels, packaging, and pub-
lishing amongst others.

Appadurai will also share insights
on the importance of innovation in
reaching out to the customers today and
how advanced and differentiated print-
ing applications can help brands de-
velop a stronger brand recall with end
users and establish a competitive edge
in the market.
HP is also showcasing a number of
applications including labels and pack-
aging, general commercial printing,
point of purchase, folding cartons, cor-
rugated prints and signages during the
show.
The live presentations during the
show will be followed by guided tours
to application areas showcased by part-
nering print service providers and HP’s
media partners. Visitors will get the op-
portunity to engage in rich and mean-
ingful conversations with some of HP’s
leading print service providers to ex-
plore digital printing avenues for their
brands.
Vinsak at Printpack 2019
Vinsak announces alliance with SPG Prints for prepress equipment

A
t the Printpack 2019 show in
Greater Noida, Vinsak an-
nounced its new alliance with
SPG Prints. Michael Tschol of SPG
Prints was present at the Vinsak stand
during the show. Austria-based SPG
Prints is represented by its sister con-
cern in India named Stovec Industries
in Ahmedabad. The Austrian company
has a special position in the group for
being the most competent part of the
group offering prepress equipment.
“Our focus is wider than just the la-
bel business. We with our prepress port-
folio fit perfectly to Vinsak’s processes.
With this alliance, we will jointly of-
fer prepress solutions to the custom-
ers along with the press and postpress
that Vinsak already offers. We believe
this alliance gives both the companies
a win-win situation. And with Vinsak’s
reach in India, we hope to market our
products better and reach out to a wide
customer base throughout the country,”
Tschol says.
SPG first contacted Ranesh Bajaj
of Vinsak during Labelexpo India 2018
in November. The actual deal came
through shortly before the Printpack ex-
hibition. Bajaj says that the company is
very excited about the deal.
“SPG has a wider product portfolio
which hopefully will help us supply to

the market soon. We were delivering
press and postpress equipment to our
customers earlier but with this deal, we
will be able to cover the entire spectrum
of the printing process with prepress,
press and postpress equipment.
“We already have a team which is
trained for the new system. And we
hope in the coming weeks we crack
some deals with a few companies.
We’re extremely optimistic and are
waiting to get in touch with the media
soon again to make a sale public,” says
Bajaj.
At its stand at Printpack 2019, Vin-
sak is displaying the Lombardi 430
8-color press which has already been
sold, the announcement about which
will be done on Day 3 of the show in the
presence of the customer. The company
is also displaying the Vinsak USAR
machine with a 100% camera inspec-
tion system. Additionally, the company
is showcasing its pile turner and its new
and upgraded slitter rewinder, the Vin-
sak TTR, which was launched at Label-
expo India 2018 in Greater Noida.
