36 th Annual Dubuque Dragon Boat Festival

RIVERVIEW PARK 9 / 6 – 9 / 8 . Drawing teams from multiple states and even up to Ontario , Canada , 40 foot long boats , shaped like dragons and holding 21 people , race on the mighty Mississippi . Racing will occur all day on Saturday and Sunday with an additional breast cancer ceremony on Sunday . This year ’ s theme is Miniature Golf Course .
