NOW PLAYING A former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City . She is lured back to the open plains by her friend to test a groundbreaking new tracking system . There , she crosses paths with a charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his stormchasing adventures with his raucous crew — the more dangerous , the better . As storm season intensifies , terrifying phenomena never seen before are unleashed , and all of these competing teams find themselves squarely in the paths of multiple storm systems converging over central Oklahoma in the fight of their lives .

They team up to defeat a common enemy in a very funny and probably somewhat crass and uncomfortable manner that some people will love and probably lots of mothers will not so much . Deadpool ’ s peaceful existence comes crashing down when the Time Variance Authority recruits him to help safeguard the multiverse .

President Thaddeus Ross from the late William Hurt in Captain America : Brave New World hopes to bring a lot of excitement back to the franchise , but unfortunately a supporting character is acting as an inadvertent and unforeseeable lightning rod . Emmy nominee Shira Haas plays Ruth Bat-Seraph , an Israeli former Black Widow who is now a high-ranking government U . S . official . Some who are pro-Israel have an issue with changing the character ’ s allegiance to a U . S . agency while those who are anti-Israel are protesting the character due to her roots . Can ’ t we just go to movies anymore ?
Shrek 5 has finally received a release date alongside Toy Story 5 and Frozen III in 2026 . This makes for a potentially monster year for animated movies to lead the box office . People are even talking that the year could finally vie for breaking the box office record for a year .
Originally , Horizon : An American Saga — Chapter 1 was supposed to be followed up by the theatrical release of Chapter 2 less than two months later , on Aug . 16 , and by the production of the third and fourth Horizon films , which had not yet begun production . But it was announced that Chapter 2 , despite being largely finished , was pulled from the theatrical release calendar . Making only $ 25 million worldwide , the first movie flopped at the box office , so they ’ re saying they want to give people time to find it online before they reset a part 2 release date . Yikes !
Director Shawn Levy ’ s upcoming but back-burnered Star Wars film got rolling forward by adding writer of The Adam Project , Jonathan Tropper . Many of the other upcoming Star Wars films have revealed their focus or a working title , but no such details exist for Levy ’ s movie , who ’ s been making Deadpool & Wolverine for years now , and Levy said his Star Wars movie was in a “ holding pattern ” because of it .
