Halo is an independent feminist monthly magazine. In this first
issue, Halo shows readers paintings that were influential after
the Renaissance. The painting on the front cover tells readers
about the style of the magazine: Halo focuses on introducing art
works and their authors, because it concentrates on *feeling*
the power of women instead of thinking about it. Halo is
going to be printed on high quality paper for clear pictures,
and it will not comprise on the tactility of the experience
in order to cater for lower budgets; the cover price is £9.
