Revolution

Revolution is a quarterly, mainstream magazine devoted to
celebrating body positivity and diversity. The front cover
is similar to other women’s lifestyle magazines, but there is
a crucial difference with Revolution, which is the striking
image of a woman whose body has not been photoshopped,
with body positive slogans written all over her. This woman
is not the typical size or shape of models often used in
mainstream women’s magazines, but Revolution is a magazine
dedicated to embracing bodies not normally shown in the media.
There isn’t enough content on body positivity, despite the
huge amount of internet users looking for it. This is the
reason I set up my own blog on the issue. As market research,
I asked several of my readers what they thought about
Revolution and the response was unanimously positive. One
of my readers said “I would pay a lot of money for something
like Revolution... to have a physical symbol of the body
positive community in my hands would be absolutely priceless.”
