Tell us about yourself...

Since childhood my heart has recognized nature as my teacher and I am drawn to her beauty, self-sufficiency and creative energy. As I learn more I discover the human body and mind has the same nature and capacity for wellness. In a world

that is thought to be wearing down, my passion is to share evidence of the beauty and well-being that are inherently ours and show that body, mind and nature interact with each other. Photography and mixed media allow me to express and

Why did you join 30dac?

Lee Ann Sanowar inspired me to join the 30 Day Artist Challenge (30dac). I had seen her go through a similar challenge and was so impressed with her paintings and how she stuck to her challenge. She announced a new challenge and so I joined with flushed cheeks and my heart racing. “Could I do it?” “Yes!” came the answer inside of me, “I can”.

I had so many creative ideas, dreams and visions stored up in my mind and it was time to create them and bring them to life. I had been adjusting to farm chores and caring for my llamas and hens and family in the last 4 years. It was a great change from my predictable

being.
