EDITORS ’ NOTE

Throughout university and school , you may have had an idea about what you want to do with your life . You might have stuck with the idea of this . This dream might have come or be about to come true . Lucky you ! Some of us feel overwhelmed by where society says that we are meant to be in life . This can cause all sorts of problems if you try and rush through a stage in your life .
Now is the time of year when the days are longer , it ’ s hot and the sun is out to spoil us . However , if you are at a transition stage in life , summer can be a scary and confusing time especially if you do not know what is coming next . We are here for you . We can comfort you , guide you and get you through this time in your life . A magazine you can come back to anytime .
In this first issue of 2wenty , we discuss issues like Travel guilt and what it can do to us and our travel plans . Tired of being hung over and having days of ‘ hangxiety ’? We also have an article on going sober over the summer which is getting much more common these days . Our fitness article includes some tips from a qualified personal trainer and nutritionist and we discuss imposter syndrome and feeling like you do not belong even though you have worked hard for something .
In our working life section you can find our main story , which is an interview with Amar Singh who is an art dealer and human rights activist on the Forbes 30 under 30 list . He talks to us about his career and how he got started .
Your twenties are a time to experiment , to enjoy your time , especially your summer !
We have come to realize that being “ twentysomething ” is a gift and not a moment should be wasted . Ups and downs are all part of the ride , and we are here for you !
