Amar Singh is a true champion of social justice who has devoted his life to protecting human rights . At 29 years old , was recognized as an influencer in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for his immense contributions to art and business .
Being a descendant of the Kapurthala Royal Family in India , Singh has been advocating for the legalization of homosexuality since his teenage years and is currently leading a case at the Supreme Court of India to abolish LGBT conversion therapy .
Coming from a family with a long history of female activists , Singh has been fighting for women ’ s rights for over ten years and has featured the works of historically overlooked female artists at his Amar Singh Gallery . Women like Rose McGowan call him an ally and one of the biggest inspirations in her life .
Arts might be his base , but he is also using it for more , for changing the world , using his incredible knowledge and influence to make a difference . He has committed to donating $ 5 millions of artwork created by female , LGBTQ + and minority artists to museums by 2025 .
Singh is an example of a person who was able to enjoy privileges in life but who is using what he has for the right causes . He is no longer in his twenties – he is actually 31 years old now – but he has plenty of perspective to offer people at that stage of their lives .
