Everyone knows that smoking is bad to your health because the chemicals in tobacco harms your body like permanent damage to the air sacs in the lungs, increases the risk of having strokes and heart attacks, develops cancers, coronary arteries diseases, heart diseases, osteoporosis, obstructive pulmonary diseases and such. A lot of these symptoms are caused by the carcinogens that the tobacco smoke produces and are introduced into your body from the respiratory system to your bloodstream and then on to your muscles and even your bones. The carcinogens are substances that can interact with your DNA causing dangerous changes on how your body creates new cells like interrupting the the production of cells, exceeding the normal rates of cell division or creating cells that lack some functions that your body needs. Genetic errors are normal even in healthy bodies and the product cells of this errors die quickly and usually don’t cause any troubles. But when carcinogens are introduced into your body the probability of this genetical errors happening are drastically increased and the product cells have much bigger chances of living creating more and more useless cells, this is how cancers are created in your body. The tumors can be produced in many parts of the body, some of the most common are lung, mouth, nose, larynx, tongue, nasal sinus, oesophagus, throat, pancreas, bone marrow, kidney, cervix, ovary, ureter, liver, bladder, bowel and stomach. Of course these dangerous tumors need to be extracted or eliminated from your body through surgery or chemotherapy to prevent them from doing fatal damage to your organs. Not only does the tobacco smoke contains these dangerous carcinogens, some carcinogens are found in things vital to life like the in the ultraviolet rays from the sun contain carcinogens, also snack foods, drinks, types of plastics, and everyday objects contain carcinogens; even substances that are helpful to us like chlorine have carcinogens. The only way to prevent dangerous intake of carcinogens is by keeping away of things heavily packed with carcinogens like the tobacco and being self aware of protecting your body from what surround you and what you eat.
